VSC COVID-19 Rules and Regulations

Great news sailors, we can start sailing on Sunday 24th October as a club at long last! As such, there are a couple of things that all members and visitors need to be aware of.

We are a community sport organisation as far as covid goes so we need to abide by those regulations.

Therefore the club has put in place the following:

  • QR check in is mandatory, the entrance gate will be manned by the duty officer and everybody must QR code in before going through the gate.
  • There will be a sign in register (paper)however this adds a lot of work for the committee so it would be appreciated if the QR code was used.
  • Duty officer of the day must be at the club by 9am to open up and man the gate, no late notes will be accepted.
  • The club is only open to fully vaccinated members and visitors until the 1st Dec (or when the Govt allows), so unfortunately if you are not fully vaccinated, you will have to wait a little longer.
  • Green ticks or proof of Vaccination will be checked upon entry. (16yrs and over)
  • There will be no BBQ etc, so bring your own lunch.
  • You do not have to wear a mask outdoors.
  • You are allowed to dance and sing, so feel free to let your hair down and belt out some tunes and moves.

The VSC committee is excited to finally get things under way, as there are a bunch of things to yarn about (Racing, Exciting new events, Hobie 14’s, State Titles, National Titles, Hobie 14’s, Social events, New Years Eve Bash and Hobie 14 Rigging techniques).

Plus, it’ll be an awesome opportunity to catch up and find out how everybody has coped with bloody Covid! We have some exciting things planned for the future, so hope to see you all there on Sunday.
