After a wet and dreary start to the Easter long weekend, Easter Sunday delivered in style, with the breeze filling in from the south and the sun finally breaking through.

Despite the earlier weather and a number of sailors away on holidays, there was a solid turnout for the Sunday long-distance race. Andrew and Don were on Poly, running the show and setting the fleet on their way.

Four Hobie 14s hit the water, with Courtney taking an early lead ahead of Jeremy, Adrian, and Dan. In the double-handed fleet, Egbert & Helen led the charge, followed closely by Paddy & Riv, who ultimately took the overall win on yardstick.

After a long day on the water, the fleet washed it all down with a few well-earned schooners at the Jervis Bay Brewing Co. With locals and tourists alike enjoying the action on the water and the laid-back atmosphere of the VSC, it was an absolute vibe down at the club throughout the weekend.
