It was another action-packed Sunday of racing at the Vincentia Sailing Club, with six Hobie 14s hitting the track in a blustery westerly, alongside all four of the VSC’s Hobie Waves.

Andrew and Rennie were on the start boat, setting a solid course with the bottom mark right in front of the club and the top mark positioned toward the gusty shores of Collingwood Beach.

In the Hobie 14 fleet, Adrian and Dobbo were joined by the returning Hazel, along with MB, Paddy, Jake, and a young visitor from WA, Henri.

Racing was tight across the board. MB took out the first and third heats, Paddy claimed the second, and Dobbo secured the final race with a stunning downwind run. Jake took the honours for most capsizes with four, followed by Henri with three and Paddy with one.

The Hobie Waves were sailed by Clare, Helen, River, Joel, and Evan. Clare dominated early, taking out the first three heats, while River and Joel showed great consistency by completing all four races.

A big thank you to Ehli and Oliver for cooking the BBQ.

Stay tuned for the final round of the Autumn Club Handicap and the final weekend of the Single-Handed Club Championship.
